DAY 1  ARRIVAL IN TANGIER

Flight or ferry

Your driver will be waiting to escort you to your hotel for check in. Today, take things at your own pace. Walk by the beautiful coastal boulevard of Tangier which looks like you’re in a Florida beach town. Tangier is known to be an international city since centuries. Today it is a rapidly growing economical hub for multinational businesses. Walk to the “Lazy Wall” to have a stunning panoramic view of Gibraltar and Tarifa on the other side. Spain is just 14 Kms away.

DAY 2  TANGIER – CHEFCHAOUEN

Have a royal continental breakfast at your hotel before you start your roadtrip to the Atlas Mountains in the direction of Chefchaouen. The whole town screams blue, the buildings, the blue washed streets, even the stairs and the steep cobled lanes are painted blue. In the main square you will find one of the oldest Kasbahs in Morocco dating in the 15th century, a fortress and dungeon as well as an Ethnographic Museum to give you a taste of the history of this marvel.

DAY 3  CHEFCHAOUEN – FES via MEKNES & Volublis

Today, we will start the day with a trip to explore the ancient Volubilis, Morocco’s heritage of Roman ruins. After an introduction from your guide to the history of this centuries old monument dating back to 3century BC, we will head to the most ancient medina in the world, known as the cultural capital. Fes is surrounded with a large wall from the medieval Marinid era, vibrant souks and medina streets almost like a labyrinth. Your guide will take you to visit one of the biggest tanneries in the country, still using traditional methods. The rooftop of the tanneries offers a panoramic view of the Medina and the surrounding mountains. Then, it's off to discover the pottery factories on foot; the souk, the square and the Nejjarine Fountain, and outdoor views of the Karaouyine Mosque in the heart of the Medina. The narrow streets are busy and you’ll need to watch out for the donkeys. Lunch will be in an ancient palace in the Medina.

DAY 4  FES SIGHTSEEING

Good morning, sip your coffee on your terrace overlooking the majestic medina walls and the Atlas Mountains. We start today by an outdoor visit of the Royal Palace, also the Jewish Quarter and its houses with forged iron balconies. Then, you will visit the magnificient Bab Boujeloud, Mellah. Next, it's on to the medina and the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque and University, founded by a Muslim woman. The University opened its doors in 859. After a fabulous Moroccan lunch, we head back to the souk and markets at your own pace to hunt for bargains and souvenirs. Spend the evening in a Moroccan spa, enjoy hammam, a massage and relax. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

DAY 5  Fes – CASABLANCA

Today after breakfast, we head to Casablanca, the economical hub of Morocco. Unlike in the movie, Casablanca is a modern city with a blend of Moorish and European décor and architecture. Once arrived, your guide will take you to the gigantic Hassan II Mosque standing on top of the Atlantic Ocean. Lunch at Rick’s Café and then walk around the malls to discover some contemporary Moroccan products and deisgns. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
